Dr. Forrest Gomez of the National Marine Mammal Foundation, along with Dr. Thais Rodrigues and Dr. Cristiane Kolesnikovas of the R3 Animal Association in Brazil spoke at event hosted by the Dolphin Quest Conservation Foundation

The Dolphin Quest Conservation Foundation last night hosted a special event featuring three visiting scientists who are making waves in the field of marine conservation.

The DQCF, the charitable arm of Dolphin Quest, invited Dr. Forrest Gomez of the National Marine Mammal Foundation (NMMF), along with Dr. Thais Rodrigues and Dr. Cristiane Kolesnikovas of the R3 Animal Association in Brazil to share their research at a public presentation at The Media Lounge in Dockyard.

Together, they shared their research and firsthand experiences in “Saving Endangered Dolphins in South America,” highlighted the urgent work being done to protect vulnerable dolphin populations and restore marine habitats across the region.

The event brought together members of the public, students, and conservation supporters to learn more about global collaboration in protecting marine life.

Through events like this, the DQCF continues to advance its mission of promoting ocean stewardship, supporting scientific research, and inspiring collective action to safeguard marine species around the world.
