$2.1M partnership to streamline public services into a single digital platform

Government today announced a multi-year partnership aimed at introducing greater efficiency into public services through upgraded technology, including artificial intelligence.
Paradise Mobile, Abacus and Google Cloud will collaborate to strengthen and modernise the public sector – a move that is expected to lay the foundation for the world’s first AI-powered island.
Diallo Rabain, Minister for the Cabinet Office and Digital Innovation, said the contract is valued at 2.1 million dollars over the next two years.
Starting in January, a 110-day sprint will focus on 10 priority areas, followed by additional phases.
Minister Rabain explained that the tech overhaul aims to streamline government systems into a “one-stop shop” for residents.
“This multi-year initiative will bring our vision to a connected, fully integrated public service to life, where residents and businesses can complete government transactions in one secure digital platform,” he said. “This means applying for licenses and permits, making payments, accessing public records, signing documents and managing personal government information all in one central location.”
“No more navigating multiple websites, lining up at counters or repeating information across departments. A unified digital government experience will significantly reduce wait times, streamline service delivery, and make it easier than ever for the public to engage with the government.”
