Charity focused on rehabilitating children affected by gun violence advocates for data-driven policies

The Champions Program, a 24-hour mobile crisis response service and grief counselling network, has seen 96% of the 107 children treated following the murder of a family member or loved one graduate from high school.

One charity, The Gina Spence Program, says its program launched 15years ago is producing positive results by using clinicians trained specifically in homicide bereavement.
