Sir John Swan and Michael Dunkley, C.B.E., have a difference in opinion on whether independent candidates are at a high enough standard to be elected
Two former premiers are at odds on the plausibility of independent candidates forming a coalition or majority government following the outcome of the upcoming General Election.
Michael Dunkley, the former leader of the OBA says it’s wishful thinking at this stage on the likelihood of independents gaining any significant traction at the polls on February 18th.
Meanwhile, Sir John Swan, former Premier, co-founder of the Independent Candidates Movement in Bermuda and independent candidate for Smith’s North, constituency 10, argues residents are willing to step outside their comfort zone to make a change for the future.
