There’s a duty of those who are free to acknowledge when others are not, says local Islamic leader
Ahead of the 191st anniversary of Emancipation, community leaders gathered at City Hall today to call on people to recognise our common humanity, and to also consider those currently suffering elsewhere in the world.

Those gathered also highlighted tomorrow’s discussion on the legal and moral remifications of reparations taking place at 6:30pm in the Anglican Cathedral Hall on Church Street.
