The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the motoring public that the ongoing lane closure on North Shore Road near Crawl Hill in Hamilton Parish has been extended through to the end of September 2026.
The lane closure, which began on Monday, 3 August 2026, is required to accommodate the inspection of an existing transmission line that delivers fuel from SOL to BELCO. Working hours will continue from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Traffic controls will remain under the direction of Island Construction representatives, with stop-and-go signs and possible traffic lights in use. Motorists are encouraged to exercise caution and follow all traffic control instructions when travelling through the area.
The Ministry thanks the public for its cooperation and patience while the works continue.
