
The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can now confirm that the death of a male motorcyclist – understood to be a 62-year-old Pembroke man – following a reported single vehicle collision around 7pm Saturday, 25th July 2026, near the junction of South Road and Church Road, Southampton, has been reclassified.
Medical findings ultimately verified that a medical incident led to the collision and his passing on 1st August 2026.
As such, the official number of road fatalities in Bermuda so far this year, is currently 12.
The BPS extends sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and is grateful for their patience with our investigation, regarding their loved one’s death.
