Bermudian riders Aeziah Divine and Jediah Cumbermack secured solid results amid fierce pack racing as their weekend concluded at Donington Park.
Divine, lining up for Fibre Tec Honda-By MLav Racing in the R&G MOTO4 British Cup, earned a brace of 12th-place finishes across two demanding 14-lap contests. The 16-year-old clocked 23:30.029 in Race Two before backing it up with 23:38.304 in Race Three, thriving in tight slipstreaming battles.
“A few of us got into a great battle for the whole race,” Divine reflected. “I tried to stay focused on making it to the line and seeing what I can do in the last two races of the season.”
In the 1PMobile National Junior Sportbike class, Cumbermack delivered a composed ride for ROKiT Rookies. Benefiting from overnight set-up changes, he pushed through the 10-lap sprint to take tenth in 16:51.162.
“We made some changes to the bike since the last session, and I was feeling positive,” said Cumbermack. “I was hoping to put it all together and had a stronger session.”
