The Caribbean Public Health Agency reinforcing the importance of regional partnerships

Safeguarding our borders, limiting the spread of communicable diseases, and mitigating the damage from global pandemics. A new partnership between Bermuda and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) has ambitious goals, including better regulation for food service workers.
Dr. Lisa Indar, Executive Director for CARPHA, was on-island this week to meet with key stakeholders in Bermuda’s health sector. Joined by Minister of Health Kim Wilson at a press conference on Wednesday, Dr. Indar underscored the importance of multilateral collaboration between member states for the good of global health.
