Jose Paiva, reported missing on Sunday, identified as man found lifeless on Tribe Road #6

A 68-year-old man reported missing on Sunday has been identified as the man found dead in a motorcar on Monday morning.
Jose Brandao Paiva, a Portuguese national, was reported missing on Sunday around midday.
Police received information from the public, and the last reported sighting of Mr Paiva was around 1:16pm on Sunday, driving a motorcar on South Road.
However, on Monday morning Police were dispatched following a report of a person in an unresponsive state on Tribe Road #6 in Warwick.
Officers found a lifeless man sitting in the driver’s seat of a motorcar, now identified as Jose Paiva.
Police report that a medical doctor attended the scene and certified the death, which is not deemed to be suspicious.
The Police Service extended condolences to the family of the deceased.
