Harness racing
Kiwon Waldron, the Bermudian harness racing driver, enjoyed a productive night at Harrah’s Hoosier Park in Indiana. Competing in three races across both Trot and Pace classes, Waldron showed his adaptability in the sulky.
His evening began with a solid third-place finish in Race 2, a Trot event, aboard Simsam, clocking a time of 1:57.2. He then switched to the Pace in Race 3, guiding Miki’s Big Guy to a sixth-place finish in 1:53.4 in a competitive field.
But Waldron saved the best till last. In Race 7, another Pace event, he partnered Friendly’s Scooter, and the duo powered to victory lane. They recorded a winning time of 1:54.2, marking a successful return to the winners’ circle for the Bermudian reinsman.
