Press release:
Soca royalty Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons will headline WAVES, a first-of-its-kind outdoor concert experience taking place during Carnival in Bermuda on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Admiralty House Park, this immersive event marks the first time the dynamic duo will perform together in Bermuda for Carnival, bringing with them the full Asylum Band for an unforgettable, high-energy show.
Bunji Garlin, a lyrical giant known for his genre-bending soca anthems, claimed Trinidad’s Road March title in 2019, 2023 and was runner-up in 2024 and this year, cementing his legacy as one of the most influential voices in Caribbean music.

Fay-Ann Lyons, a three-time Soca Monarch and the first woman to win Road March, Power Soca, and Groovy Soca in the same year, brings unmatched stage presence, fierce vocals, and a legacy of breaking barriers in a male-dominated genre. Her solo career stands tall, bold, fearless, and unapologetically powerful.
Representing Bermuda’s own vibrant sound are local stars Fire Wayne and Pona Flex, both known for commanding the stage with undeniable charisma and crowd-moving performances.
The vibes continue with a stacked DJ lineup featuring top local talent: DJ Mystro, DJ Rusty G, DJ Jim Brown, and DJ Casualty. The international sound will be amplified by DJ Ovadose, Brandan Duke x Mic Man Fling, Selecta Kerry, and Tony X, guaranteeing nonstop energy from start to finish.
Set around a unique floating stage, WAVES offers scenic, land-based viewing areas that allow guests to fully immerse themselves in the music while surrounded by Bermuda’s natural beauty. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site, bringing the perfect pairing of taste and vibes to match the day’s atmosphere.
Keidric Smith, spokesman for organizers, Party People Entertainment, says: “WAVES is more than a concert. It’s the first time we’re blending a full live band, a floating stage, a selection of food and drink, and an all-day outdoor experience during Carnival weekend. We created WAVES to reimagine what live music looks and feels like in Bermuda — bold, immersive, and uniquely ours and we are excited to welcome Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons to Bermuda for this unique experience.”
WAVES is not a raft-up event. Entry by boat will not be permitted. All patrons must arrive by land. Parking and shuttle information will be announced shortly to ensure a smooth and accessible experience for all attendees.
WAVES will be held from 2pm to 9pm at Admiralty House Park. Food and drinks will be available for purchase and are both included in the VIP option. Dress code is swimwear chic and tickets are available at www.ticketisle.bm.
