Bermudian middle-distance runner Nirobi Smith-Mills has been in action at the BMC (British Milers’ Club) Grand Prix in Manchester, a significant event with World Athletics Challenger status.
Representing Notts and Nottingham Trent University, Smith-Mills competed in the Men’s 800m B Final at the Bury track. In a competitive race featuring some strong talent, Smith-Mills clocked a time of 1 minute, 49.54 seconds.
The B Final was ultimately won by Ted Chamberlain, who finished just ahead of Smith-Mills with a time of 1 minute, 49.09 seconds, underscoring the close nature of the race.
