Pathways Bermuda, a Strategic Partner of Caron Treatment Centers, is a non-profit addiction treatment service for young people and adults.
More adolescent clients are being referred to Pathways, according to the addiction treatment centre.
Their Clinical Manager, Camily Lovell, sat down with us to discuss the trends their seeing this year but encourages parents that not every young person who experiments with substances will go on to develop a disorder.
She said strong familial relationships appear to offset the extent to which youngsters will take high risks with substances.
