Bermuda’s Nicholas Pilgrim has competed in the 2025 Americas Triathlon Championships, held in the challenging Mystic Paradise Calima, Colombia, delivering a strong performance in the Under-23 Men’s event.
Pilgrim showcased his endurance and skill across the three disciplines, finishing in a respectable 13th place overall. He clocked a total time of 2 hours, 1 minute, and 1 second.
His race began with the swim segment, where Pilgrim posted a time of 19 minutes and 22 seconds. He then transitioned efficiently to the bike course, completing it in 56 minutes and 28 seconds. Pilgrim concluded his race with the run segment, recording a time of 41 minutes and 39 seconds.
Competing in the Americas Triathlon Championships provides invaluable experience for Pilgrim against some of the top young triathletes from across the continent. His 13th-place finish demonstrates his continued progress in the sport, and he will undoubtedly be looking to build on this performance in future events as he continues his promising triathlon career.
