Two Bermudian international footballers, Kane Crichlow and Nahki Wells, have made impressive starts to their respective club’s pre-season campaigns, both finding the back of the net.
Kane Crichlow was the hero for Sutton United, bagging a late winner in their 1-0 victory over Wycombe Wanderers. His 87th-minute strike not only sealed the win but also earned him the Man of the Match award, a superb start for the Bermudian.
Meanwhile, Nahki Wells was also on target for Luton Town in their behind-closed-doors friendly against Colchester United. Luton secured a comfortable 4-1 aggregate win across two 60-minute matches. Wells’s first-time finish levelled the scores in the second game after Colchester had taken the lead, showcasing his clinical touch.
Both players will be looking to build on these promising pre-season performances as their clubs ramp up preparations for the upcoming season.
