Zane DeSilva, the Minister of Housing and Municipalities gave an update on the project with the Bermuda Housing Corporation who have over 200 families on their wait list for affordable housing
Five new apartments will be added to the affordable housing stock at the historic Chelsea Property on Red Coat Lane North in St. George’s.
Housing and Municipalities Minister Zane DeSilva and colleagues from the Bermuda Housing Corporation gave media a tour of redevelopment that they hope will ease the burden on the housing waitlist.
Minister DeSilva also provided an update on several other properties under construction to be added to Bermuda’s housing inventory.
