The 2025 Fitted Dinghy Racing season has officially concluded in St. George’s Harbour, with the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club’s Contest III crowned the overall champions. After a season of thrilling races, Contest III emerged victorious, while Sandys Boat Club’s Challenger II secured a strong second-place finish. The podium was rounded out by Elizabeth II, representing the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club, in third, and St. George’s Dinghy and Sports Club’s Victory IV finished in fourth.
The final day of racing saw a mix of results across several individual cups. The St. George’s Dinghy and Sports Club Cup was won by Allab Frith, who skippered Victory IV to a first-place finish. In the Victory Cup, it was Martin Siese and Challenger II who took the win. The Jubilee Cup was a head-to-head battle, with Victory IV and Frith defeating Elizabeth II. Finally, in the 400th Anniversary Cup, Challenger II, skippered by Miguel Power, sailed to victory over Contest III.
This concludes a memorable season, with Contest III ultimately proving the most consistent team to claim the coveted championship.
