Party says Bermuda needs steady leadership focused on families and cost of living, not “more shouting”
The Progressive Labour Party issued the following statement.
The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party acknowledges Mr. King’s election as the 7th OBA leader in 8 years.
Bermudians will by now know MP King’s style well. His loud, often error filled attacks, have become a hallmark of his short time in Parliament.
Like most Bermudians, we believe that Bermuda doesn’t need more shouting; we need steady leadership that protects Bermudian families, fights to drive down the cost of living and works for all Bermudians and not just an elite, privileged few.
That is what the PLP is working to deliver and in the days and months ahead we will not be distracted by OBA attempts to divide, distort and distract.
