Police said the two vehicle collision is damage only and it appears no one was severely injured

Police said on social media, the damage only, road traffic collision involved a light truck and a motorcycle on Harbour Road, Friday afternoon.
It happened near the junction with Highwood Lane, Paget resulting in traffic diversions causing delays.
The road way was blocked, with officers diverting eastbound motorists to Chapel Road and westbound Lovers Lane, respectively.
Where possible, police are encouraging drivers use alternative routes to get to your destination and use caution on the roads.
In an update at 4pm today, a Ministry of Public Works and Environment spokesperson advised that, “This closure has been implemented to allow for an urgent wall investigation following a recent accident in the area.
“Eastbound traffic is being diverted via Chapel Lane to Middle Road, while westbound traffic may continue to use Harbour Road as normal.”
The Ministry further stated that barricades, signage and cones will be in use while work is carried out.
“The Ministry apologises for any inconvenience and encourages the public’s full cooperation while these emergency measures are in effect,” they concluded.
