Bermudian equestrian Tyler James has concluded a successful summer on the US circuit, delivering standout performances at the Tryon International Horse Show and the Kentucky Horse Park.
Riding with team IEC, James showed impressive form with his horses, Cruise Control and Vino Blanco. At Tryon, he and Cruise Control finished third in the USHJA Jump Seat Medal, before he secured multiple top-six finishes with Vino Blanco in the Amateur Jumper.
His success continued at the Kentucky Horse Park. A third-place finish with Cruise Control in the USHJA Jump Seat Medal was particularly significant, as it qualified James for the USHJA 3’3 Adult Jump Seat Medal Finals at the Capitol Challenge Horse Show later this month.
James’ strong showings in challenging classes highlight both his competitive edge and the talent of his horses, with the upcoming finals providing another opportunity for him to demonstrate his skill on the national stage.
