The Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Bermuda is preparing for its 2025 stage production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, opening October 1. Tickets arenow on sale. We spoke with members of the talented cast, who shared their experiences with the auditioning process, what audiences can look forward to, and how some lucky theatergoers might even win a golden ticket.
We also spoke with international director and choreographer Jamie Wilkin, who shared how this year’s production will spotlight Bermudian talent while introducing surprising new elements, including technology never before used on the island. He also gave us a glimpse of what audiences can expect when the curtain rises.
