That’s a question Attorney General Kim Wilkerson has been asking, as Government looks at amending parental laws to help steer youth away from a potential life of crime.
Speaking to Gary Foster Skelton in an extended interview, the AG cited overseas studies showing a link between juvenile crime and adult incarceration – making it all the more important to take preventative measures now.
Ms Wilkerson also talked about the need to support parents who are struggling, and crating judicial paths to direct at-risk youth into transformative programmes. (WATCH above)
