Exclusive aerial footage shows extensive damage
A fire broke out last night at a home located on the top of Glebe Road Hill. In a post shared via WhatsApp, you can see flames engulfing the property.
Shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) responded to a confirmed structural fire at 2 Orchid Grove, Pembroke.
According to officials, Fire Dispatch received a 911 call at 12:53 a.m. reporting the blaze. Two appliances, staffed with eight firefighters from the Hamilton and Port Royal stations, were immediately deployed. The first vehicle arrived on scene within six minutes, at 12:59 a.m.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus quickly engaged the fire using a 2½-inch hose line. They were later supported by additional personnel from Port Royal station as the incident escalated.
At 1:54 a.m., the BFRS aerial ladder platform was deployed to assist in containing the flames and to safeguard nearby properties that were at risk due to the fire’s intensity.
No official word has yet been released regarding the cause of the blaze or the extent of the damage. Authorities confirmed that efforts to fully extinguish the fire and assess the property were ongoing through the early hours of the morning.
