On Saturday at West Pembroke School, community will hear from experts, along with female & male survivors
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and on Saturday morning the community has the opportunity to hear from experts and both women and men who will share their cancer journeys.
The PLP Women’s Caucus is hosting a Breakfast Forum at West Pembroke Primary School, with a panel that includes Hospital Oncologist Dr. Dagmara Poprawski and Azuree Williams from Bermuda Cancer and Health.
Our own Jasmine Patterson will act as moderator, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
Gary Foster Skelton spoke to Esme Williams and Cindy Swan about the event. (WATCH above)
The event begins at 10am on Saturday. Tickets are $25 and include breakfast. A raffle will also be held, with partial funds going to Bermuda Cancer and Health, and scholarships.
