Living Green Expo aims to be ‘a catalyst for change’

The environmental event returns this November, encouraging islanders to “think sustainably”

Greenock is gearing up for its second Living Green Expo.

It will take place at the Botanical Gardens on Sunday, November 23rd.

The inaugural event was previously held in Dockyard and attracted more than 50 vendors and 1,200 attendees.
With this year’s new central and larger venue, organisers are hoping for an even bigger turnout.

Event goers can expect wellness activities, a kid’s zone, entertainment, a vegan food court, a vendors village and an organic farmer’s market.

As Greenrock Chairman Eugene Dean explains, the overall aim is to encourage a shift in mindset, inspiring islanders to take more nature positive actions.

Many of the island’s environmental charities have endorsed their support for the event.

Here’s what some of them had to say.
