Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre highlights early detection through its “Know Your Lemons” programme

Breast cancer is the number one cancer affecting women in Bermuda
According to the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre, 63 cases were reported on the island last year.
That’s why the charity continues to push breast cancer awareness, delivering its free “Know Your Lemons” programme to more than 3,000 people in the community.
Head of Education at BCHC, Azaree Williams, explained why early detection and self-awareness are so important.
The “Know Your Lemons” campaign is designed to empower both women and men to better understand breast health.
Ms. Williams stresses that knowledge is a powerful tool in understanding your risk.
