The morning saw tough competition in the Individual Recurve Beginner Under 15 Women’s division. Aurora Bowers fell 6-2 to Zoey Vinck (Curaçao), while Sophia Davidge was defeated 6-0 by Trinidad’s Tiana Seecharan in the quarter-finals.
The Bermudian archers put their individual setbacks aside to team up for the Women’s Recurve Under 15 Doubles.
After an initial defeat to the host nation, Trinidad, Bowers and Davidge entered the crucial Bronze Medal Match against Curaçao. In a tense showdown, the Bermudian duo showcased resilience and teamwork, rising above the adverse conditions to claim the victory and clinch the Bronze Medal for Bermuda.
