The road traffic collision happened last night in Sandys Parish

In yet another incident on our roads yesterday, one driver was injured in a two-car crash in Sandys.
Shortly after 6pm, police and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on Middle Road at the junction with Spring Benny Road.
Preliminary reports suggest that 2 vehicles travelling in opposite directions collided when the eastbound vehicle attempted to turn into Spring Benny Road.
The driver of the eastbound car was the only person injured in the crash.
A single-lane system was put in place, as crews worked to clear the scene and investigate.
