Concacaf has officially announced that Costa Rica will host the Final Round of the 2026 Concacaf Women’s Under-17 Qualifiers. The tournament will take place at the Costa Rican Football Federation headquarters in San Rafael, Alajuela, from March 17th to March 22nd, 2026.
Bermuda’s young athletes are among the elite 12 participating teams, having earned their spot after a historic performance in Round One.
Bermuda advanced to the Final Round for the second consecutive year as one of the two best second-place finishers. Competing in Group B on home soil, the team finished with a commendable seven points, missing out on the automatic top spot only by goal difference to Panama.
The team’s efficiency was a major talking point throughout the qualifiers. Bermuda topped the Confederation in goal conversion rate, turning 36% of their shots into goals.
The Final Round will feature three groups of four teams. Bermuda will be joined by heavyweights such as the United States, Canada, and Mexico, as well as other Round One standouts like Haiti and Jamaica.
The official draw to determine the groups is scheduled for February 18th at 12 noon Bermuda Time.
At the conclusion of the group stage, the three group winners and the best second-place finisher will qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
