With the PLP Leader and Bermuda’s Premier, David Burt ,set to step down in the Fall, there’s anticipation for the start of a party leadership and deputy leadership contest.
Deputy Premier Zane De Silva has already made it known that he intends to accede to the throne, but Minister of Economy and Labour Jason Hayward is also seen as a contender.
He remained tight-lipped when asked about his intentions by The Royal Gazette today. He gave away only a little more in a recnt interview with Bermuda Broadcasting.
