Traffic diversions are in effect on North Shore Road at Barker’s Hill and Dock Hill

Police and other first responders are currently on scene following a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a motorcycle on North Shore Road Devonshire, near the Tynes Bay Waste Facility.
Details remain limited at this time. However, the male rider is believed to have sustained a possible head injury. Out of an abundance of caution, officers are conducting a forensic examination of the scene.
Traffic diversions are in effect:
- North ShoreRoad/Barker’s Hill
- North Shore Road/Dock Hill
Motorists are advised to avoid the area, expect delays, and use alternative routes where possible.
