High speed and impaired driving key cause of serious collisions, says BPS

The Bermuda Police Service reported one rider was caught speeding at 102 km/h at the weekend

Viewers will have noticed in recent weeks a spate of separate incidents in which cars have flipped over.


When we spoke to police about it today, they cited speed and impaired driving as key contributors to most of the serious collisions involving cars.


Chief Inspector Robert Cardwell of the Roads Policing Unit says high speeds can maim and kill.
