The Governor joined members of the Royal Bermuda Regiment (RBR), RBR Junior Leaders, the Bermuda Police Service, and the Bermuda Sea Cadets yesterday for the annual King’s Birthday Parade on Front Street in Hamilton.
The Governor arrived at the Flagpole in the Landau accompanied by his Aide-de-Camp, Capt Matvey. Joining him for the occasion were two outstanding RBR Junior Leaders, Lance Corporal Tristan White and Ms Amirah Trott.
As part of the ceremony, the Royal Bermuda Regiment delivered a 21-gun salute and three rifle volleys in honour of His Majesty The King. The Governor then led the traditional “three cheers” for the monarch.
The event was attended by the Premier, along with other distinguished representatives from the Government, Legislature, and Judiciary.
The ceremonial parade highlighted Bermuda’s longstanding traditions and the service of the island’s uniformed organisations. Organisers and participants were thanked for their efforts in ensuring the event was conducted smoothly and successfully.
