New itineraries feature Bermuda, Malaysia, and Panama ports
Disney Cruise Line is expanding its global schedule for the 2027–28 season, introducing a lineup of new itineraries that includes a dedicated sailing to Bermuda departing from Florida, according to a report by cruiseindustrynews.com.
The Disney Fantasy will operate the special eight-night voyage, sailing roundtrip from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on March 18, 2028. The itinerary features an overnight stay at King’s Wharf alongside stops at Disney’s private Bahamian destinations, Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The cruise forms part of the Disney Fantasy’s maiden season in South Florida. Built in 2012, the vessel will debut at its new homeport in December 2027, offering a series of four- to seven-night Caribbean and Bahamian sailings through April 2028. Prior to its arrival in Fort Lauderdale, the ship is scheduled to sail from Port Canaveral and San Juan in late 2027.
The company’s wider deployment plans reveal significant shifts across its fleet. The Disney Destiny is slated to make its debut in Port Canaveral, while the Disney Wish will return to the U.S. Northeast. Following its inaugural season in Europe, the 2022-built Disney Wish will offer cruises to Bermuda, Canada, and New England from New York City.
Expansion plans also extend into Southeast Asia, where Malaysia joins the schedule for the Disney Adventure. Operating year-round from Singapore, the 208,000-ton vessel will begin visiting Langkawi from December 2026 on its three- and four-night routes.
Additionally, the Disney Magic will introduce new Panamanian ports of call during its repositioning voyages between late 2027 and early 2028.
