Video: Service of remembrance and consolation at St. Mary’s

St. Mary’s Church, Warwick hosted an All Souls’ Day Service of Consolation and Remembrance on Monday, November 2.

It honoured loved ones from the St. Mary’s parish family and acknowledged island-wide tragedies, including this year’s sixteen road fatalities and seven marine accidents.

Those in attendance included members of the Road Safety Council, CURB, and representatives of the police, fire service and the hospital.
The Royal Bermuda Regiment Band performed under the direction of Capt. Sheldon Fox.

The purpose was to provide a sacred space for grieving families, to remember the faithful departed, and to encourage renewed compassion and responsibility on Bermuda’s roads.
