Motorists are advised to avoid the area on Sunday and use alternative routes via Serpentine Road and St. John’s Road
The Ministry of Public Works has announced that the annual Butterfield & Vallis 5K race, taking place this Sunday, will require a temporary road closure in Pembroke.
Woodlands Road, from the Serpentine Road roundabout to the St. John’s Road roundabout, will be closed to traffic from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM during the event.
Representatives from Butterfield & Vallis will manage traffic control measures, including barricades and signage. Access to this section of the road will be restricted to emergency vehicles only.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and use alternative routes via Serpentine Road and St. John’s Road during the race.
