Police: Rider alert but still in hospital
A serious road traffic collision occurred in Paget shortly before 10 pm last evening, prompting a response from police and other first responders.
According to initial reports from police, the crash, which happened near the junction of Cobbs Hill and the Railway Trail, involved a single vehicle – a motorcycle.
The male rider was initially described as breathing but unresponsive and was transported to hospital.
A police spokesperson later confirmed: “At last check, he was alert and responding but continued to receive treatment at hospital.”
Traffic diversions were in place at Cobbs Hill and Middle Road, as well as Cobbs Hill and Ord Road, for about two and a half hours while the scene was processed.
