Women make up just over a third of the team
Party leader and Premier David Burt said the line-up features the “largest slate of women from any political party in Bermuda’s history.”
Unveiling the confirmed candidates one by one at the Progressive Labour Party headquarters, Premier Burt described them as a “hardworking team of Bermudians” who are “ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work for you.”
He added that they are “leaders who reflect the strength, intellect, experience, and unshakable spirit of our people.”
