‘What’s actually happening at Morgan’s Point?’

Housing? Retail? Medical tourism facility? OBA’s Michael Fahy calls for a clearer picture

(WATCH our extended interview with Michael Fahy HERE)

The OBA’s Michael Fahy is calling for clarity on the plans for Morgan’s Point.

In an Op-Ed released this week, he questions what has happened to the plans for residential units and a retail park announced in 2023, and how do new plans for a medical tourism facility fit in to that?

Housing Minister and Deputy Premier Zane DeSilva spoke in the House on Friday about the business side, indicating that much time this year has been spent on setting up an operational base for the Morgan’s Point Development Company on-boarding a Corporate Secretary, and opening bank accounts.

Mr Fahy, however, told Gary Foster Skelton that there is still confusion over what is actually happening at the Morgan’s Point site. (WATCH above)

Michael Fahy is one of the few current OBA MPs who was in the party when they made the ill-fated deal for the Caroline Bay development at the site, with a 165-million dollar taxpayer guarantee. Gary addressed that in the extended interview HERE.
