Anti-Violence Strategy is in line with Town Hall feedback, says Minister; Regular updates on strategy implementation are planned
After a series of anti-violence Town Hall discussions and wide-ranging feedback and proposed solutions from the public, the response from Government is – ‘we’re already doing it’.
Michael Weeks sees the community’s comments as a confirmation of their plans with the National Violence Reduction Strategy, and its focus on preventing violence rather than simply responding to it.
He also told Gary Foster Skelton we should expect updates on the implementation of the NVRS about every six months (WATCH above).
