Grief and Loss Awareness Day event supports grieving families

The island came together today to honour those lost and the many experiences of grief, with a special focus on lives lost on our roads.
More than 200 people gathered outside City Hall, including members of the public, government officials, emergency responders and charities.
The Grief and Loss Awareness Day event was hosted by the Gina Spence Program.
Executive Director Mykie Jones spoke about the importance of creating a public space to honour victims of road traffic fatalities and support grieving families.
