Bermudian cyclist Gabriella Arnold produced a gritty endurance display to secure a seventh-place finish at the gruelling Core4 Cycling Race in Iowa.
The demanding multi-surface gravel race pushed competitors through the challenging backroads and hilly terrain surrounding the Iowa City metro area.
Arnold tackled the lengthy course with composure, crossing the finish line in 6 hours, 35 minutes, and 55 seconds to claim a well-deserved top-10 result.
Victory went to Dutch gravel specialist Geerike Schreurs, who dominated the field with a winning time of 5:49:10, leaving Arnold 46 minutes and 45 seconds adrift of the top step.
