Goal bonanza as Pylons and Swizzle Magnets prevail

Spectators at the PCC Hockey Rink were treated to a breathless 24-goal double-header as Mason’s Pylons and McKee Swizzle Magnets both registered thrilling 7-5 victories in the Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey League.

Mason’s Pylons edged past Jingles Jawbreakers in the opening encounter thanks to a clinical offensive display. Richard Campbell, Ryan Bates, and Bruce Sinclair each struck two goals apiece, with Maxime Boivin adding a single marker to seal the win.

Jingles pushed hard behind an impressive hat-trick from Adam Mattatal alongside strikes from Matthew Ingleman and James Amaral, but they were unable to bridge the gap.

The second clash delivered identical drama as McKee Swizzle Magnets held off Rev Auto Rippers in another 12-goal showdown.

Jake Fenske and Josh Wilson led the scoring with two goals each for the Magnets, supported by markers from Shawn McKee and Ryan Wilson.

Two goals from Matthew Benson and Chris Grantier, plus goals from Pete Brodsky and Johnny Moran, kept the Rippers within touching distance throughout, but the Swizzle Magnets stood firm in the closing minutes to take the points.
