The PHC Foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to Bermuda’s youth, awarding $31,000 in funding to seven student-athletes at its 22nd Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony held at Chubb Bermuda.
Since launching in 2004, the foundation has distributed nearly $600,000 to assist Pembroke Hamilton Club members pursuing high school, college, and university education abroad and locally.
This year’s scholarship recipients are:
- Amir Weller
- T’syi Showers
- Chavi Pacheco
- Kauai Evans
- Keyara Signor
- Antoinette Barry
- Ja’Shay Trott
PHC Foundation President Mark Simons praised the cohort’s dedication: “We are honoured to invest in the future of these outstanding young people. Each recipient has demonstrated a commitment to achieving their goals, and the PHC community believes in their potential.”
Attendees heard practical advice from guest speaker Keunna Dill, a PHC footballer, physiotherapist, and former student-athlete, who shared insights on balancing academics and athletics overseas.
The foundation extended its gratitude to donors, whose backing continues to drive educational pathways for young Bermudian talent.
