Moves to protect one of the world’s most extraordinary marine eco systems have moved a step forward.
The U.K. Minister for the Overseas Territories, Uma Kumaran, signed the Hamilton II Declaration at Government House yesterday.
The aim is to build global support for protecting the Sargasso Sea, a vital habitat for marine life and the only sea in the world governed by ocean currents rather than land boundaries.
