The Bermuda Police Service confirms 42-year-old Ryan Cortez has died from injuries sustained in a Hurst Crescent incident
The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) has confirmed that 42-year-old Ryan Cortez has died at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
According to the BPS, Mr Cortez, a Filipino national, was seriously hurt in a reported chicken culling incident on Hurst Crescent, Pembroke, near Bakery Lane. The BPS said the incident happened around 5.20pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
The BPS said a Family Liaison Officer is currently assisting his next of kin.
The investigation into the matter continues, according to the BPS.
