Bermudian rugby player claims man of the match honors as Northampton advances

Bermudian Dante Noel-Simmons delivered a player-of-the-match display as the University of Northampton Men’s Rugby side powered past Nottingham Trent University 32-5 in the opening round of the cup.
The Bears extended their unbeaten streak with a dominant home performance, brushing aside a well-drilled NTU outfit to comfortably seal their place in the next round.
Having missed out on selection the previous week, Noel-Simmons marked his return in emphatic fashion, picking up the ALKO Man of the Match honours for an imposing shift on both sides of the ball.
The forward provided relentless physicality in the loose and anchored a resolute defensive line that limited the visitors to just a solitary score across the 80 minutes.
Northampton’s focus now shifts back to league action, with the Bears preparing to take their winning momentum on the road against Leicester.
