Court House hosts free wellness open house for Diabetes Awareness Month

Court House Squash & Wellness opens its doors on Saturday with free health screenings, fitness classes and wellness vendors

Court House Squash & Wellness will open its doors to the wider community for a free Open House on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Court House Central, 31 Victoria Street, Hamilton. The event is open to all and will champion fitness, wellness and health education, with tours, hands-on experiences and giveaways throughout the day.

With November marking Diabetes Awareness Month, Court House is pleased to welcome the Bermuda Diabetes Association to provide blood sugar screenings alongside health education for visitors.

“Diabetes is a significant health concern in Bermuda, and raising awareness around prevention, early detection and ongoing management is essential,” said Bee Capuano, Operations Manager and Member Services at Court House. “Regular physical activity and healthy lifestyle choices can play an important role in reducing the risk of developing type 2 diabetes and supporting those already living with the condition.”

“We’re delighted to be partnering with the Bermuda Diabetes Association for this event, particularly as November is Diabetes Awareness Month,” Capuano added. “Partnerships like this allow us to bring valuable health resources and professionals directly to the community.”

A Day of Health, Fitness and Wellness

Visitors will be able to tour the club and collect a complimentary guest pass to experience Court House facilities at a later date. The Court House team will offer complimentary InBody scans from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, giving attendees a detailed look at their body composition.

Wellness partners such as Atlantic Podiatry will highlight the importance of foot health in supporting mobility, exercise and an active lifestyle, while Epic Wellness will offer compression boot sessions and free B12 injections. Butterfield & Vallis has generously donated giveaway snacks for the day.

Group exercise classes will run on the hour, every hour, throughout the event, with sessions including POWER Yoga, Legs & Glutes, Upper Body Strength, ROWfit and Warrior HIIT. Several classes are open to all, while others are member-and-friend sessions. Members may bring a friend free of charge, with no guest pass required, and non-members are warmly welcome.

“We are hosting this Open House event to bring our community together and encourage people to take a proactive approach to their wellbeing,” said Capuano.

“Whether it’s having their numbers checked, trying a fitness class or simply learning something new, we hope visitors will leave feeling informed and motivated to take positive steps towards a healthier lifestyle, while also discovering local wellness partners and the benefits available through our Member Perks Program.”

All participants must be 18 or over, and all classes require booking. Bookings are now open and close on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 5:00 pm. Spaces are limited; to reserve a place, call 292-8357 or email info@courthouse.bm.
