Health Ministry releases inspection scores for licensed establishments
The Ministry of Health has released the latest food establishment inspection grades — read the full statement below.
“The Ministry of Health announced that Grades for food establishments licensed 1 April 2025-31 Mar 2026 are now publicly available on the Government of Bermuda portal, Gov.bm.
“Each year, Environmental Health Officers conduct inspections of restaurants, cafés, bars, grocery stores, and other food businesses to assess compliance with Bermuda’s food safety standards. Establishments are assigned a grade based on hygiene, food handling practices, temperature control, structural conditions, and overall risk management.
“Minister of Health, Kim Wilson, stated: “Ensuring the safety of Bermuda’s food supply is one of our highest public‑health priorities. The publication of the 2025 food establishment grades reflects our continued commitment to transparency and to supporting informed choices for residents and visitors alike. I want to thank our Environmental Health team for their diligent work throughout the year, and I commend the many food businesses that consistently meet and exceed our standards. Together, we are strengthening confidence in Bermuda’s food sector and protecting the well-being of our community.”

Update: The Ministry has issued a correction regarding the grade assigned to The Rotisserie Grill.
“The Ministry of Health wishes to advise the public of a correction to the 2025 Food Establishment Grades recently published on the Government portal.
“Due to an administrative error, The Rotisserie Grill was incorrectly listed as receiving a Grade D, when in fact the business was awarded a Grade B following its inspection. The online listing has now been updated to reflect the accurate grade.
“We sincerely apologise to the establishment, its staff, and the public for this mistake. Ensuring the accuracy of all published information is a priority, and we regret any concern or reputational impact this error may have caused.
“The Ministry has reviewed its internal verification process and is implementing additional checks to prevent similar errors in the future.
“We thank The Rotisserie Grill for its understanding and remain committed to maintaining transparency and public confidence in Bermuda’s food safety system.”
